Waiting till you're ready
Watching the time pass
Minutes,hours,days
Playing a role to be near you
And yet I feel my disguise starting to tear
And beginning to show the truth
Trying to find the way to reveal myself
Changing costumes and practicing lines
Finding the best
Yet maybe the best approach is from in front
Not behind or creeping foward
So now the stage is set and the final practice performed
And stage fright runs rampant through my veins
The thrill of finally being myself is making things more confusing
Watching you as you meander onto the stage
Now the play has begun
The climax is about to occur
And still you're refusing to see
What I want you to
Denying anything that will disrupt your world
But you're sitting on the self-destruct button

Granted, it is refreshing. But I once was where the author has been and it is not comfortable, I eventually told my secret love and did not hold back...went in with all guns blazing so to speak, I was not dissapointed. Nice to read another's view...thanks
