I finally found you after searching so long...
This blessing could never be expressed- even in song.
My heart is content, and my soul is at rest.
Of all the bliss I've known, this is best.
But I know exactly how long this will last...
And time is already moving too fast.
I've never been very good at saying goodbye;
And knowing you'll leave haunts me 'til I cry.
Crying myself to sleep, night after night...
I stare at the wall and hold your memory tight.
But I can't change what is out of my hands,
No more than I could make mountains crumble to sand.
So, there goes my future, my being, my life...
I'll love you forever... for now, goodbye...
