in an instant i saw you holding my hand on my death bed
but in that same instant i saw you kissing another girl
i wanted so badly to kiss you again last night
feeling the beauty in your arms as i did that night pieces together the shards of a broken, faded soul
im almost certain we'll be together some day
when im not stuck in a poser's paradise
but damn relativity
damn, damn relativity
how you make the seconds seem like years
the hands on my clock are slowly, but surely ticking away
but slowly is killing me, dammit
i want to steal the beauty from your lips every chance i can get
to see your name on the caller-i.d. to ask if i still want you to come over for the night
patience is a virtue i do not possess
but i have no choice but to wait

Your expression of words is amazing.You have all the right ingredients for excellent poetry. Comment on the subject? He may never come around and some advice?Move on...there is an ocean out there to swim in...swim,bask, and enjoy!
