Moving slowly
Sun in my eyes
Take in a deep breath
Release it with a sigh
So many places I壇 rather be
A wiser waste
Of my time
But to get to the end
I understand, the only way
Is to climb
Welcome to my
Austere playground
Welcome to
My hell
Watch your step
Mind the daises
That ground alongside
The well
My well of wishes
My well of dreams
Toss in a penny
One that gleams
Shiny, new
In the sun
Pitch it in and
Wish for fun
Hope for laughter
Pray for rain
I wish to see your
Face again
Plus a smile
Minus your tears
The face of one who痴
Overcome their fears
You battled your demons
Won your fight
Held onto sanity
With all your might
I wish to see
Your face once more
So unlike me,
Lying torn on the floor
You are sane
I am broken
Repair me now with
Words, unspoken
Your words have wings
They help me to fly
Your touch gives me strength
To say goodbye
Goodbye to you
Goodbye from me
Goodbye to all
That I値l never be
Goodbye to hopes
Goodbye to dreams
And to the penny
The one that gleams
The penny that brought you
Back to me
But you came too late,
Don稚 you see?
I went so long
Without you here
I went mad,
Gave into fear
Gave in to demons
Dirty and dark
Gave in to loneliness
Grave and stark
I知 not strong enough, you see,
I gave in to what I知 not
Gave in to all I値l never be
The terrors of my mind, I fought
But in the end,
None lost but I
And I know you値l forget
After we say goodbye
We will part
Go our ways
I値l be lost
Until the last of your days
