Children missing
Babies dieing
Robberies everywhere you go
What is this world coming to?
Oh lord please bring us peace
A coming soon must be the feast
Pain, anger, sorrow death

good write and understandable.
but.
He said in his word that the world was going to get worse. why one should be looking at him instead of what is going on around them so he can help and get them through their problems. He cant take us out of this world but he can hold our hands while we are here giving us strength and wisdom to get us through. another good reason to look forward to the wonderful place after we die. we wont have to suffer any longer. that is what he does promise. |

Such a great depiction of the wretched world we live in today. It's pathetic and sickly, but the scariest thing is that few people seem to notice it. I appreciate your insight and your strong ideas about the world. Good poem.

Well, I (obviously) don't exactly identify with the religious aspect of this, but you protrayed the state of the world nicely . . . damn, but it's sad.
