Open your heart to me
You won’t be disappointed I’m sure
There’s something I want you to see
But if you remain so closed up, you’ll miss it for sure
Open your ears to me, and hear what I have to say
I know they say we won’t get along
But it doesn’t have to be that way
One of my biggest prides is my ability to prove people wrong
Open your arms to me, and allow me inside
I promise you, I won’t do anything wrong
I’ll be perfect in her eyes
If you listen really closely, you might even hear me sing her a song
Open your door to me if nothing more
Should I stay in your home overnight?
She can have the bed I’ll gladly lay on the floor
So long as her face, is what I see, come morning light
Just please…. Open to me
