My Different Kinds of Red

Evil screaming too loud;
Color it all in blood red.
Voices taunting my mind,
Haunting me, elusively dead.
Scream until all rationality leaves;
Color it crimson red.
And let the voices never end,
Until with blood we’re fully fed.
And scream these evil words innocent;
Color it dripping red.
Let the voices betray what’s right,
Follow until to death we’re led.
Screaming set me free, “you’ll never be free;”
Color it all flowing red.
Remember the voices empty,
It’s pain they’re trying to shed.
Let the screaming fade,
And color it all in dried red.
Quiet the voices taunting,
The pain is temporarily dead.
