I Want You.
Your love is like a distant mountain,
So far & high, hard to grasp.
Your love is an eternal fountain,
Abating my thirst & my sole source of sustenance.
To reach you is to reach the stars,
Standing high upon my toes, never will I clutch.
To reach you is to touch a galaxy so far,
Deluged by mysteries so congenial.
Yet so I know, that love wouldn’t make
The world
Go around,
But I do know that your love
Is what makes the ride worth awhile.
