Losing Yourself
I'm sick of the lies
That you make all the time
You can't speak the truth
You don't know anything
But the lies taught
You expect me to believe
That the sky is green
That the grass is blue
You expect me to believe you
You expect me to believe
Anything you tell me
Why do you expect me to believe
That you tell the truth?
When it seems you are unable to
I'm not as blind
As I was before
I'm not as deaf
As I was before
I'm not as numb
As I was before
I'm not anything
As I was before
All your lies
Are digging you deeper
In the ground's soil
You won't get out
With each lie that you tell
You're too deep
In your own making
To even know
Where the lies started
It's your fault
For losing yourself
To your own making
