Tired of sitting idling by
When something needs to be done
Sitting here ready to cry
Waiting for the morbid rising of the sun
Trying to peel away the hatred for her I have in my heart
I wanted to accept her as my mother, but I see it’s not going to work
I’m tired of watching from afar, and listening to damage reports
As fireworks begin to explode in my mind, of a dangerous sort
As I see the chance of it happening fading yet
I don’t think I’ve ever been this mad ever before
I mean you asked a simple request, and look at what you get
It makes me think I have no choice but to sound the drums of war
