Come walk a mile in my path.
Answer the question why.
Then tell me all is well,
That I should not cry.
Ask of me one more smile.
To get through this hectic day.
Come walk a mile on my path.
Kindly point the way.
Take each cautious step,
By my weary side.
Give me strength to tarry on.
As my wounded soul,
Breaks forth in song.
Convince me,
This night will not be long.
Come walk a mile on my path,
Helping me to feel,
The depth of His great love.
Pure love, that could only come from above.
Come walk a mile on my path.
To help my journey along.
