Her Looks

Contributed by xxapples on Saturday, 8th May 2004 @ 04:31:51 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

As she stared into the mirror
She was looking at her face
Then she saw a tear

Her friends told her she looked fine
She hated how she looked
She thought they were just trying to be kind

She was always feeling left out
Everyone she knew was pretty
All she would do was pout

It wasn't just that problem
There were many other things
She just wanted to solve them

She let her feelings bottle up
Until she couldn't stand it anymore
She let her life slip away and drank her last cup

So now she doesn't care about how she looks
She no longer has to worry
Because she no longer is on earth

You are very pretty within regardless what society tells you on the outside. Please visit my site, turn the speakers on, lights off and enjoy.

I know how you feel, because my friends say the exact same things to me and i just don't see it in me. I believe that if you are beautiful inside then you must be outside as well.

If you need someone to talk to just write to me, I'm not busy at all so i'll answer you back.

P.s Don't be afraid to be you!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
