THe WRiTiNG oN THe WaLLS

Contributed by xslashxprettyxskinx on Saturday, 8th May 2004 @ 12:16:56 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Standing, staring into infinite darkness
Waiting, shaking from the room so cold
Nothing's coming and still the earths quaking
Contemplate a suicide of a story gone untold.

Lightening, striking across the ceiling
Piercing, squinting at the electric wonder
As it traces a scenery through the room
Then ends in a weak noiseless crash of thunder.

Around the walls in slow circles
Uncovering the words from my heart
A poem, written on the walls, now I'm reading
Giving me goosebumps; causing my pulse to jump start.

The hidden words of an ancient poet
In my mind, his soul unfolds
A descriptive dance of words and light
Weaving a tale of a future life holds.

And in this dream state
My mind unlocks all closed emotional doors
Something inside me shifts and settles
On this wonderful, magical psyche tour.

Dreams make life more understandable
The writing on the wall tells my story
Nightmares make life unusually unliveable
From start to bitter finish, never ending glory.

Sounds to me like there is a dark spot within your soul which lingers to be released, may be words from an ode which past, but has a message for you to release to this world, dreams are funny sometimes, hope you find an answer to this one, thanks for sharing it, a great write indeed, take care Val

Seems to me your dream is showing you both sides of your life and placing it in your view like that is telling you it is time to make some changes in life. Dreams generally are our id bring to the front what our subconscious already knows but we don't want to deal with yet.
