You've been gone for the longest while,
since that day I haven't truley smiled,
and no matter how hard I try,
something always gives and I start to cry.
Fresh wounds are ripped anew,
each and every time I think of you.
This pain will never leave me,
I will never be free,
from our time spent together,
It will haunt me forever.
I may look happy on the outside,
but on the inside,
no matter what I do,
I'll never get over you.
