When you get happy
in that certain way
That death could not stop you
from smiling that day
If only we felt like that
i would give all i have
to feel that glad
and be happy to laugh
But it brings me down
When i see the corruption
in my surroundings again.
Because we are all in a state of misconception
With our hero president
who preaches about our high taxes
but we still struggle paying rent
while he sits and relaxes.
No wonder, we can't try
We are all too busy crunching numbers
Until they disappear
or just get covered.

Ironically, it's the tax cuts that are hurting our economy! I just found out a few days ago that Bush is the only president to have a rate of job loss since Herbert Hoover. He's have to gain 135,000 jobs a day until November to get back on track. I hope we can his ass in November.
Anyway, great poem.:) |
