In my mind I can make all come true with you if I believe I can
Just a dreamer is what I am
You told me it would never work out in the end, but I never believed you because
Just a dreamer is what I am
The days became weeks, the weeks became months, and the months became years and in my heart there were tears
I started to realize that maybe you were right while all along I was still putting up a fight
You told me to stop dreaming and wake up and even though I did wake up, I still can't give up because
Just a dreamer is what I am
Just a dreamer is who I am
