Dark Angel

Contributed by Black13 on Friday, 7th May 2004 @ 01:21:46 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Betrayed, betrothed in brothel's sinful cove birthed within Leviathan's belly.
Nominal love, callously born with hatred's utter scorn dedicated to life's unbirth.
Darkest angel mockingly demonstrative of heaven's perpetual might.
Embarking upon unholy crusade crucifying babes in inverted ceremony.

On gossamer strands life dangles hopeless to a reaver's searing blade.
Crimson saturated blade that parts life from bodies' haggard breath.
Salvation quickly abandoned weeping in his arms as throats are ghastly torn asunder.
Asphyxiated by own entrails to be abandoned at Dante's infernal gate.

A pregnant moon beholds destruction of old oak groves.
Yet, unborn children wrenched from mothers' tainted wombs.
Rampant decadence enslaves mans' mind tantalizingly enchanting their senses.
Insidious rapture spawned from twisting lovers' touches converted to venemous tongue.

Impetuous confessions to a demonic father endeavoring to cleanse sins at death's feet.
Flaying prayers' on bended knees in twilights' faltering glimmer, reaping pious souls.
Deliverance of the world spawned by genocide's tender embrace.
The righteous altered to blasphemous speech dreaming of pain's end in nightmarish existence.

What a write. Guess you did get it all out. So much going on here. I think you are spewing at all of humanity more than at religion---all the things that are wrong with this fallen world. The next to last stanza is really intriguing. So much anger. Just wow. Dark. Really, really dark.
