Slit Wrist.

Contributed by deathdrop on Friday, 7th May 2004 @ 12:47:05 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Crimson blood creeps, out a wrist that pale.
Nothing stops the flow, as life always a gale.
Nothing gets me through, but my friends around.
Not many know I do it, as I don’t make much sound.
Where’s the point in living? When you die at the end.
Where’s the point in trying? When things snap and bend.
Days mean nothing, when years take their place.
This world is spinning, there’s only pain to face.
I don’t care anymore. I’ve tried too many times!
This world is(Word deleted) !! Don’t tell me how to live my life.
Where’s the use in trying, to be good, or fit in.
Note after note, my death treat still lives.
They never found that note, but I guess it’s just as well.
But it would be nice to leave. As all this world is HELL!!

At least you are alive. I am relieved. Talk to someone, please. Don't make this mistake. I almost did. I am so glad I didn't. There is much to live for. Honest there is.

Please, for your sake and for the sake of the people that do love you, please accept help. Search it out, beg for it, but there is a life waiting for you. You just have to want it. Don't give up on yourself or this world going around. There is beauty, love and caring out there if you will just look for it. We have to make our own paradise inside us. The world does not always turn the way we want but we can make it fit our needs inside our hearts and minds. Please don't step from life.

Rita

Woah. Backup and think a second, bud. You really WILL go to hell, the reall *****nshebang if you committ suicide. No joke. If you're going to reject that because you don't believe in God or something, then think about those that do love you. If you say nobody loves you, open your eyes. For all of the people that have commented and left messages like this one are but strangers to you, and we love you enough to keep you alive, let alone those people that you've touched, impacted and met along the way. Think of your parents, relatives, and friends. They love you millions of times more than we do and they want you here. If God wanted people to slit their wrists, He wouldn't have made them... it would defeat the purpose of inhabiting the earth if people were supposed to just live to die anyway. Look at the things you're doing this over... then look at the things that REALLY matter. Don't kill yourself. Just don't.
Give your life AND your poetry an encore.
Love,
Chelsea
