Suicide

She sits and stares mindlessly at the wall,
Endless despair is all she recalls.
She raises the blade to her wrist,
The ripping flesh is distorted bliss.
Her blood flows silently to the floor,
This empty reality shall be no more.
The dagger slips silently from her grasp,
These few short breaths will be the last.
Goodbye cruel world and all within,
This final parting is worth the sin.
Consciousness slowly creeps away,
Angels wept for her soul today.
