Mesmerized

Topic: InspirationalPoems

Mesmerized

On a deserted path she stood,
in the crisp air
Spending time with her emotions,
with a heightened view
Influenced by the desire of beauty,
devoting her time to spring
Enchanted by the brittle mist of air,
making it into a portrait
Imagining the evening to die soon,
other images still alive
Sun and moon break over her head,
gazing with delight
She bent down on her knees to pray,
applauding nature of the truth

This is lovely. I love to sit by my rock pond and listen to the water and watch the trees sway with the breeze. It is like listening to the wind talk to the trees. You have captured that feeling in this poem.

Opulent beauty permeates every line of this poem. Breathtaking scenes, laden with spiritual overtones, and written with that certain flair you always imbue your works with. Well, you've got a number one fan now!

Truly,
-V.S.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
