My friend brought me to today...

Contributed by JennyFruFru on Wednesday, 5th May 2004 @ 09:21:53 AM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

Another day been brought
The sun is shining strong
The wind is flowing in a frenzy
And yet we still stand tall

Our tears from yesterday have drowned
in a puddle of its own
No more need for petty worries
as we go and carry on

The world is full beauty
no more need to feel alone
There's love among our friends right here
and with them there's no need to fear

They'll protect us when in trouble
and fight away our fears
They'll be our knight in shining armor
and stand by us thru all the years

Our friends will never leave our side
Despite any disarray
Even when the sun shines bright
its our friends that bring us that new day...

Outside of missing a word here and there I liked this.
It had a certain strength to it.
Good, very good.

this is an awesomely, beautyfull write.
I'm so happy to see u writing happy.
It breaks my heart to see anyone in agony and depressed.
Keep up the good work as your write will encourage many others to look to the brite side of things. It's hard to stay positive with our planet being how it is but if u look hard enuff u can find beauty in all things.
with the written word we are so fortunate as we can cheer someone up or bring um down.
Our global family here might take some rough waves but we can find our way to shore if we rufuse to give up.
luv, huggs, faith, hope, peace,
emy
Great job and u r so good at happy. Makes my heart smile.
