There are times
that
I am feeling so strong
then there are times
that
everything is wrong.
Life is like a carnival
the carousel
of emotions ebb and flow
forever changing,
just can't seem to decide
where I belong.
Roller coaster of inner visions
rock and roll
vibrate and shake
as I go deep
inside
into the tunnel of love
as I race to the fate
that is all mine,
carnival
is thrilling me
is spinning me
to emotional levels
I’ve never known,
round and round
up and down I ride
as I try to find where I belong.

At times it gets like this, especially as much as you've been thru, like the loose of your close friend from cancer.

I actually thought this was a song lyric halfway down, but it changed my mind at the end. Nice title - made me click on.
I like the way you use analogy for the emotions. Very vibrant.

| I liked this. Although, the word "doom" in the title is sort of misleading. I wonder why it was on the "Least read poems" list? |
