Life is unfair

I may cry day and night
but what good would it do
the pain will still be felt
and you will still be gone.

I now understand
why anyone even thinks
about hurting themselves
What else is there to live for.

The world just wastes away
when you are not with me
What is the point of living
if I can't have you, if you aren't with me.

If any few things
can keep me barely going
it is the thought
you might come back.

I don't know if it is possible
or just whishful thinking
but I can't give up
on my love for you.

Unbreak my heart
I let you go
now come back already
I put my heart in your hands
and you didn't give it back
before you left.

Come back
and bring the love and light
back into my life.
