Stage of life (part 2)

Contributed by Archie on Tuesday, 4th May 2004 @ 08:50:58 PM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

Another day on center stage
the center of God's creation.
A glimpse into the loving eyes
of him who takes care of us.
He spins the world on it's axis
and shines lights in the sky
To let us glimspe on center stage
for now I am stage right.

I traverse through a world of mist
and things aren't as they seem.
The things we work so hard to get
do not fit in Jesus' scheme
He wants to bring us to a place
of love and happiness
A green pasture of rolling fields
when we exit the world stage left.

I want to stand on center stage.
I want to do my best.
to live and hope and dream and give
to others happiness.
I ponder how to do such things
so on my knees I pray.
"Help me Lord to live my life
in you, in love, today"

I glimpse upon the center stage.
God watches our performance.
When we exit it stage left:
I hope he will applaud us

A poet in truth you are. A great vision. I think He will applaud you.
Take care.
