Inner Struggle

Topic: ambiguous

Lost in the arms of unfeeling emotion,
unaware of the happenings that take place beneath my chest.
All he can see is the rapid rising and falling.
I fear the unknown and won't accept his persistence,
only to find myself urging him to go on.
Bits of the mind and heart fused together,
leaving me fighting myself.
The belief that all will be resolved by taking action is proved wrong.
To be with the perfect man and not know of the truth is a difficult thing.

i like the last line
