Love came to me on gentle wings
and swept my heart away
Hoping that my actions speak
the words I couldn't say

You came and picked me up
when I had fallen down
You came and brought me light
when all but darkness was around

Love came to me when
I thought it would never come again
I found in you someone that is
both a lover and a friend

It came to me unexpectedly
out of the clear blue
Suddenly I realized that
my heart was all in you.

Love came to me once more
and I can't believe it's true
Love came to me again
Love came to me in you
