My life existed once. I was alive at one point. And now I wait for it to come back to me. I don’t move, rendered motionless. I don’t speak because I’m speechless. No one’s here to listen anyways. This house is my tomb. Buried underneath all that consumes me. The only life upon my face is the glow from a screen. I am but a body that sits here day by day to pass the time and wait for my rebirth. And for what it’s worth your words still echo through my head like screams from within the Grand Canyon. I’m at the bottom. So far out of reach. Too far for any eye to see. Where at least I can be myself without having to feel anything else. But this test of feeling emotionless is one that I have failed.
