Love Forsaken

Contributed by Solmyr1404 on Tuesday, 4th May 2004 @ 01:58:16 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

This heart taken,
Love forsaken,
Why do you break it
And allow the love to escape
Into the night,
To fly away
On the wings
Of the black raven
Who for Poe quotes
"Nevermore"
Forever haunted by this....
Love forsaken.

Love forsaken,
Never spoken
To reveal its presence,
And now knowing my patience
Was cowardice,
Knowledge of my
Stupidity,
Proof that truly
Love is blind,
For if it weren't, I would see
All we'd end up with is nothing to see,
But love forsaken.
