The joys of my life are here today........
But as you know, I cannot stay.
While I'm away......I'm really not gone,
I leave behind my Spirit, to keep you safe and warm.
When you hear the sweet sounds of birds singing,
To welcome the early morn.....I am there!
When the very first star you see shining so bright.......I am there!
Just look around our home, all the love we put there.
From the tiniest nail, to the biggest chair........
I am there!
When a soft summer rain falls upon your skin,
As a gentle breeze blows through your hair.....I am there!
If after the rain, a beautiful rainbow appears......Feel me near?
The butterfly that flutters, parading it's colors so fair........I am there!
Outside our home we planted a garden of love......just for us to share.
The very first flower, we picked together,
Remember? I am there!
Soon my love I will return home to you,
Where I really want and need to be........
So look for me one night,
When the moon shines bright.........
That's when I will hold you, look into your eyes,
To tell you how much I love and missed you so.........I am there!
Home is truly where the Heart is!
