LoveRemembered

Don't let me be a memory
Someone you left in the past.
Something you feel when you reminisce,
something you can tuck away.
And I haven't told my grandmother...
Can't we just pretend?
I want to imagine it never happened,
just go back to the start.
And avoid the end.
Please, don't tell your friends.
I don't want to be remembered as
your first lesbian kiss,
touch,
Lover,
love.
I don't want to be remembered.
I want to look forward,
have a future.
I don't want to be someone you
'got over'
I don't want to be a past,
I want to be a present
a future.
I don't want to be forgotten
but I don't want to be
Remembered.

I always feel so much better after i've got things down on paper, or told someone verbally how i feel. I hope everything goes well with you.
