Should I put it in park
Or just keep my foot on the brake
I think I'll be here for a while
I's so hot
The pavement is cooking
Maybe we'll all melt
Swirling away into the sewer
Then down to the sea
Ah the beautiful sea
If only I could get there
I look at you, looking at me
Nice car, don't know what it is
But it's pretty
I kinda smile and you smile at me
I like the color
I always pick cars by their color
You're from out of state
North Carolina
Your wedding ring winks at me
So where is she?
The guy behind me is anxious
He wants to get going
So just jump over me and be on your way
He's sweating, his face is beat red
The girl in front of me is fixing her hair
Looking in the mirror
The guy in the next lane is checking her out
This is better than a movie
Who are all these people?
Going home from work like me
Vacationers from far away
Kids in their parents SUV's
I hate those things
Gas guzzling road hogs
That guy in the hard hat
He's got a cute butt
He knows I'm looking
He's starting to blush
Finally traffic starts moving
Slowly, through the intersection
I give him a wink
Before I step on the gas

What a cute way to describe a traffic jam, I will never look at cars etceteras without thinking of this well written poem.
