Within this pleasant, green-hued silence
A solitary leaf drifts passively earthward
Floating noiselessly through breeze-kissed ether
Settling in a final hush on a crystal and lapis pool
Deep inside this whispering idyll, I dream
All thoughts now preoccupied with a kiss
One single shared intimate gesture in time
Yet, the spark that sent a heart spiralling as a leaf
Just a portion of a minute, now forever remembered
A special moment amidst the bustle of ordinary life
"I must tell her something, but what, for this memory?"
"Should I tell her of my longing for many more?"
Thus here alone, with the gentle sweetness lingering still
Dreams and desire meld, within this verdant copse
Nature providing muted testament to hope and happiness
A splendid reminder of the beauty captured within a kiss.

How beautiful. It's so wonderful to listen to different "first kiss" stories. Your poem is a fantastically picturesque compilation of words that really tells a splendid story.
