If you had thirty years,
Could you love me then?
If I didn't have such dirty fears,
Would you love me then?
Since you do not love me now,
May I ask if you will love me then?
If I was taller,
Or maybe a little smaller?
How about if I was much more buff,
Or maybe not so tough?
If I was blonde, black or gray,
Or if my eyes were as green as the field or blue as the bay?
Could you love me then?
What if I was a better Christian,
or forsake all belief to live in sin?
How about if I was a little older,
Or if my heart was a little colder?
What if I ran a mile in three minutes flat,
Or became richer than Madonna just like that?
If I was an actor on the big screen,
rippled with muscles and lean?
Would you love me then?
What if I was a normal guy, kinda thin?
With blue eyes and a crooked grin?
Kinda insecure cause I'm not quite pure?
Who believes in God until the end,
And is proud to call you friend?
Will you love me then?
