Daddy, Don't You Care?

Contributed by ml02 on Friday, 4th October 2002 @ 02:45:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Suicide
Daddy
Don't cry
You don't really care
If I die
Or
If I live
I've always just been
Your punching bag
And so on.

Black eyes
At the age of three
Brocken bones
At four
You hurt me
Daddy
The abuse
I had to take
I didn't deserve it.

So
Drink another beer
By the end
I'll be dead
Don't mind the silence
Or the screams
Just keep on
Go on smoking
That cigarette
It's just
Your little boy
Is dead
Daddy
Don't you care?

Don't you feel
A thing
Remorse
For the bleeding
Nights of pain
And tears
You caused.

Aren't you sad
I'm gone
Like forever
Not just
Until tomorrow
Don't you see
You're punching bag
Is gone
Never to return
I took my life
Wouldn't give you
The pleasure
Of killing me.

Hi, MI02, this was written with so much emotion. I can feel the pain and torture endured by the child. Great write. Such a sad situation..
