Words i didnt speak with my actions

Contributed by little_genna on Monday, 3rd May 2004 @ 12:14:04 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Finally reached the age of a young woman.
Responsibility laden.
Became drunk stupid.
Completely over loaded.
Making out with my best mate.
Not remembering the next day, just lucky it was not delicate.

Telling the one I love I no longer want him round.
Almost found myself at the bottom of a bottle, drowned.
To my rescue my soul mate and friend.
That I dearly needed their support to depend,
Emotional tears flowed,
All I could do was off load.

My friend, he did turn just I fell.
He there to catch me, just as I was to say farewell.
Talk we did much.
We barely close enough to touch.
A kiss on his cheek.
Me saying thank you whilst feeling weak.
Words I did speak with my actions.
As he just walks and listens.......
