I wake up, your betrayal still so fresh in my mind
and wonder why you still roam there so freely,
as the terrain has been reclaimed,
and you have been gone for so long.
Still, I forget sometimes that he loves me and you never did.
All that matters is that I loved you,
my heart remembers and I can’t expunge the memory.
Such an unfair fantasy – you walk back in
and we pick up right where we left off –
just pretend like he never existed
and you never pretended to love her.
If we could have we would have back then
before everything became so impossible to fix.
I miss you and it makes me sick with fear
That this feeling will follow me through life
When you are so unworthy and undeserving
When as long as I love you, I could never love another.

A man that betrays his love once will do it again and again. Your poem shows that your talent for writing is not dead it will come back like mine. Sometimes I just cannot stop writing other times I feel as if I would never be able to write another line. Keep smiling my dear it will be alright and the inl will flow again.

This definitely does not suck. Just work your way through the block, I can already tell you are halfway there with this poem. Great job keep it up!
