Happiness

Topic: InspirationalPoems

Take hold
Of its handle
And lift it
High above you.

Exalt
In its radiance
And let its glory
Wash over you.

Find in it
The energy to
Continue,
And continue.

And, when you are
Finished,
Place it back
Where it belongs,

Deep inside
The recesses
Of your mind
For later use,

For it is
The sole reason
For life:
Happiness.

So, when you
Locate it,
Remember.
Remember.

Remember where
It was, what
It was, and
Don't ever forget.

In due time,
If you've lost
All but yourself,
Look back

Upon the days
When you discovered
True happiness and
Take heart, for

Things will only
Get better;
They will only
Improve.

So fret not,
My dear,
Don't worry
At all

For you will find
That one little
Thing that will
Carry you through

The rough
Times ahead,
Be it a person,
place or thing,

A feeling,
a song,
An action
or a thought.

And, when you
Come out on
The other side
Of things,

Please
think of me,
And remember.
Remember.

Another exquisite write. Once again
the flow of this poem is flawless.
Great work!
