when my tears

when my tears
stream down,
the flow
is profound

when my tears
fall without permission,
i feel im in a
watered down prison

when my tears
drop gently,
they kiss me
oh so softly

when my tears
flow freely,
the hurt inside
leaves briskly

see, my tears
stopped coming.
because the hurt,
stopped hurting
