I hope blood rushes to your hands
and that your nerves regain feeling,
so that you reconize what you hold,
as the knife that would kill me
and the children and their favorite
tinsel-covered Christmas tree.
Maybe as the lot of us,
so worthless in your merry mind, we're
piled high in ashes for you,
Rosey, rosey Santa Clause.
I hope blood rushes to your lips so that you taste
the milk and you know it is poison
Sit in the quiet and smell our sugar-plum bodies burning,
and drink your milk for the children.
If you don't die by Christmas Morning with
your head cracked on brick
and cushioned by stockings
then I hope you will use your stainless knife to open your gifts.
I Love You cards from your children and
a suprise from me.
I hope blood rushes to your brain so you have sense enough
to make us all hot chocolate,
and I hope you drink it all,
And then I hope you remember to scrape your own veins as you did ours.
So Merry Christmas, my killer.
