Have you ever drowned in unfallen tears?
Or tried to let go of withheld fears?
Have you stared deeply at your reflection
And wondered the mysteries of its deception?
Have you ever endured the challenges of all
Or failed to see your one true call?
Have you ever felt your individuality lost
Or tried to win at all costs?
Have you ever seen the world through a child's eyes?
Then maybe you could realize
The world is not only filled with fears
Or lies that eventually lead to tears
The sadness here once smiled
But only when you look through the eyes of a child.
