Do you see me like I do?
Do you watch the same tape?
I feel so distorted
In the mirror
Definitions blur
Do they mean what they say?
When they tell me all this
Is it really real?
The focus is out of lens
It has to be changed for each person
To see clear.
If I kiss you
Is the feeling the same as mine?
If I throw you a look
Do you catch it?
Or does it just kinda crumble
Through your fingers
Without me realising? Like
Broken glass
When we think we know each other
But can't tell what we think
So many pieces to consider
Pick them up
Where we left off
Every time
But in the gap between the platforms
You see them in a different light
Glinting thought to thought
Blink and you'll miss them
The wait is endless
I'm sure you're warmth is real
But is it warmth you want me to feel?
I'll dream of you
In ice
And you'll laugh at me

Every space between each piece goes on forever. Sadly, the gaps will only get bigger. Maybe one day the pieces will fix and all spirits will truely know each other, step out of the ice and experience the Warmth. |
