WE BURIED OUR LITTLE PICY TODAY

WE BURIED OUR LITTLE PICY TODAY

When our little Picy died she left many blessings
She was the pic that strummed our heartstrings
Joyous music, laughter, memories of love
Precious wee gift from Our Loving Creator above.

When little Picy died, she took the sunshine.
Voided the sunrise and sunset, emptied the skyline.
Curly poodle hair, big brown sad eyes.
Darkened the night, a gap where once was a moonrise.

When little Picy died, she stole the last rainbow
Flashes of lightening, storm's rage, rain's widow.
Why do we love our pets so tremendously?
Loving us first, they teach us how so deeply

When we buried our little Picy today.
Chips of our heart shattered and drifted away
Greatly missed is she, n'er forgot, forever memory.
'Tis it any wonder? For no one loved and adored us,

like a little dog named Picy!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WHAT DOGS DO FOR US
Catch balls for hours!
Keep a night alone from being truly lonely
Get us outside on beautiful fall days, rainy
days and snowy winter days.
Listen to our singing.
Treat us like celebrities when we come home
Warm up our beds on cold nights.
Make our hearts more vigorous
Alert us to the arrival of the garbage man
Help us live a little longer.
Make us smile, with laughter and tears
Agree with everything we say.
Warm our knees with their chins.
Provide a use for old tennis balls.
Signal when a thunderstorm is coming.
Help lower our blood pressure.
Test how fast we can run.
Keep the squirrels from overtaking our yards.
Teach us the meaning of unconditional love
To err is human, to forgive, canine!
They steal our hearts as puppies, and fill
them with love for the rest of their lives.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Oh for the life of Picy.......she always slept on her back with ease, and snored real loud too!"

Connie, I know the loss you and Montie felt when you lost her. They become like a cherished member of the family. I know animals I like a lot better than some people. Little ones like Picy love you unconditionally and never turn on you like some people will. I think man/woman is more likely to fit the word 'animal' than most creatures I have met. So very sorry for your loss, But she left you a precious part of her.

Love
Rita

I'm so sorry. We do learn so very much from our pets. They teach us about devotion and unconditional love and so many other important things that we forget.
This is a wonderful tribute.
