Death As Art

Fragmented reason
Means one day
I’ll stretch myself out
Across the highway
A few gallons of red paint
Applied to a concrete canvas
Myself in abstract
A vision of within
Eyes embedded into pavement
As with my head
The collaboration
Metal, rubber, glass and skin
A mangled construct
An exhibit to be aired by six o’clock
Soon to be replaced
With a cheaply made cross
Hammered into the dirt
To remind all passers-by
Of the life I gave
For my artwork

Wow....thought this was very intense writing. "The life I gave for my artwork" thought this to be a very interesting closure.
Blessings
