Life Flies By

Topic: Lifepoems

If you find the one you truly love
And they just turn their back,
Is it just a sign from above
Or is it love you truly lack?

Is it love or hate that divides the world
Or is it the world that divides our love?
Or is it neither, and we have no love
To share with the rest of the world?

I do not know what will happen
Or how or with who or when
But I do know that times will change
Because life flies by in the end

I see myself a rich old man
With a suit, a cane, and a hat
...no girl or wife or something close
Just maybe a dog or a cat

I found the one I truly want,
But she left me once again
She walked away so nonchalant
And told me 'never again'

I do not know what will happen
Or how or with who or when
But I do know that times will change
Because life flies by in the end

I don't know what to do with her
Should I try or back away?
I know I love her, with all my heart
And I've told her every way

I'm stuck between a rock and love
And it's crushing me to bits
I see no way to walk away
And find some other chicks

I do not know what will happen
Or how or with who or when
But I do know that times will change
Because life flies by in the end

From dusk til dawn I sit and think
Of things that come and go
But you're not suppose to think of love
And it always scares me so

I see the world in a new way now
With a different view and light
One that I think is better for me
With no hate or greed or spite

I do not know what will happen
Or how or with who or when
But I do know that times will change
Because life flies by in the end

the story of life... wonderful how you could tell it the way you did... just so awe-inspiring... Could almost be a song...

well, I must say, I am very impressed,
This was excellent...
