Lifepoems

Sweat trickiling down my back,
Pain tearing through my legs,
Fighting through all the things I lack,
I run.
Away from demons that hant my mind,
Away from memories that bring me down,
Away from the thought of the love of a woman I cannot find,
I run.
On the roads of my life,
Through the trails of my discretion,
I run.
The wind blowing away my dreams,
Cleansed by the washing of the rain,
In the snow as my body steams,
I run.
To survive,
To die,
I run,
For life,
For death,
I run,
I run.
