She's always been here
spreading only luv-n-kind.
She spent hours on end
Reading, commenting others minds.
Jenni, Jenni, Jenni
A trooper you are
Spreading joy, life to all.
You left us like a falling star.
Two years ago come July
had a stint to my heart.
When insomnia hit
You worried 'bout me
Not resting when life was dark.
Like a beacon
our friendship shines
In poetic lines here-n-there
All 'cause you showed caring all time.
Now don't know why
you left us all here.
Each time you're absent
I shed a silent, heart tear.
Girlfriend, sho do miss ya.

Oh Emy.....you said it all so well for all of us.
How we loved Jenni girl. She touched my heart in so many ways. It was always Jenni that cared, It was always Jenni that was there! Where did our wonderful, caring, kindhearted Jenni go?
I'll miss her forever.........and your poem said it so well......everytime I think of her, a heart tear will drop until she comes back!

dearest emy, this is so beautiful, happens i just caught jenn on msn, she says to tell anyone who asks about her that she is "fine and dandy" and had a "sunny day" on her island home, it is weird for me too when someone leaves, i guess she had her reasons, the wonderful thing about our site is that the door swings both ways, big hugs n' love, nessa

I find it very difficult to believe this page is not running over with comments. Jenni was so loved by almost everyone. Her love of people and life and deep caring for this site was amazing. She can never be replaced in our hearts by anyone at anytime. Jenni is just one of those special people that shines the light of humanity.

Iv been here over a year and Jen has been right with me, she is part of YPDC and was here right from the beginning........... I go with ann Iv heard the same thing that someone hurt her really bad and if that someone is reading this I say your a big ol pile of stinky POOP!! BAD BAD BAD. K I will not say anymore because I made a promise...

i'll be honest i don't know who jenni is as i only joined the site this year.
But she sounds a wonderful person, if someone has upset her i hope the differences can be resolved, with a bit of luck she'll read your poem and realize how much she is missed.

Great poem, a lovely tribute to a friend.
Personally I feel that any poet who leaves this site is a loss to the site. I hope that no one else leaves, I love all the poets and poems and the thought of not being able to read great writes anymore leaves me feeling crushed. Good poem. |

I've known Jenni since the first YPDC was running, in fact we've stayed close for what three four years now. I miss her too, Jenni Love you and miss you alot. Here's a tear from me also.
