Why did you leave it
to hands unsure as yours.
We sat covered with the blanket of father and son.
I had talked the words you will take to eternity, you answering in rhyme to leave me search.
Father forgive me,
and I will you
as we laughed through the tears.
Sit with me this is all you will need, a father to the son.
Weathered and drawn from my time in this world,
now from my hands to yours.
That moment is all that counted,
in two lives once shared.
I stand true to your hands that guided
as your bones bleach white....Crow
