I hide behind my smile
Protects me all the while
No one would think how I feel
My laughter echos
I wish it was real
Ive preyed every night for happieness
Preyed for any form of bliss;
But its never answered
I dont know why
So I huddle in my corner in cry
My tears shed of sorrow
wollow in self pitty until the morrow
get up get dressed put on my smile
wave at everyone-
want to be walking their mile
wish i was normal
tell them i am
even if they knew the truth
they wouldnt give a damn.
so why bother?
they think its all cool
i forgot what this poem was about
something that rhymes with cool.
