I sense the pain hidden deep in Our Hearts such confussion in everything we are told, so much Disbelief, what is right what is wrong, someone always seems to take away Our Songs.
Years of Slavery, Racism and Differences, Color of Our Skin, Language, and Unequality who can We associate with, where are We allowed to Live, the Size of Our Family.
What about Our Children what is it that they Feel, when they see that We don't Stand up
for what We believe in, and make things Real.
Hundreds of Years and nothing has changed, Minority is still in Our Vocabulary.
Why must We Classify, White, Red, Hispanic
or Black We are all the same don't Doubt that.
It's time We grow up, Stand and Speak Up, for until We Erase Hatred, the pain will Never STOP.

i felt this way a bit when they inducted the latin grammy's into the scene: it's like modern day segregation... ((looks around cautiously and steps down off of soapbox)) ...the issues are still yet at hand, that is why the world can use plenty more people such as yourself who stand up for what they believe in. awesome write. kudos! ;0)
