Away From Here

selfstruggles
|
Morbid thoughts of destruction
Flashes of grotesque images
Like an eruption
These preceptions in my head
Catching what I look like dead
Hearing the people around me
Listening in on what they have to say
Oh what a dismay
Take me out of this place
I don't want to be here anymore
I'm running with both feet on the floor
And a sword in my right hand
I'm running home, away from this foriegn land
The one that lies in my mind
That is not patient nor kind
One made up of false instruction
That leads straight to self-destruction
I'm running until I am free
and able to agree
That I will not go back
and I'll stay on the right track
No matter what it takes
If I have to survive three earthquakes
I will
Goodbye to you who kills
Out with the old
And in with the new
The new, that I know will remain true
